Dear families and staff of St. Michael’s School, Bow Island
I am exceedingly pleased to announce that Mrs. Jill Weatherhead is the successful candidate for the position of Associate Principal of St. Michael’s School in Bow Island. She will begin in her new role this August 2022.
A long time resident of Bow Island, Mrs. Weatherhead has been an educator in the region for over 15 years and an integral part of St. Michael’s School for the past 8 years, serving as both an Inclusive Education Liaison and classroom teacher. Committed to life-long learning and professional growth, she is looking forward to beginning her Masters of Educational Leadership with the University of Lethbridge this coming summer.
Jill’s passion for rural revitalization and her strong belief in the importance of choice, faith-based and local education for all children truly make her the ideal candidate for the position of Associate Principal. I know that she and incoming Principal Mark DeJong will make a wonderful team, serving the St. Michael’s School community faithfully.
