St. Michael's School Council

St. Michael's School has a friendly, welcoming and active School Council.  All parents who have students in the school are automatically members and their voices are respected and welcomed. 

We have an executive staff consisting of a chair, vice chair, secretary and treasurer.   We also have a hot lunch chair and fundraising chair. Feel free to contact school council at smbiparentcouncil@gmail.com.

For 2025/26 School Year our Chair is Jaap Remijn, Vice Chair Simone Mastel, Secretary Jamie Pahl, and Treasurer Kim Van Ham.

Our meetings are held in the art room.

St. Michael's Auction & Committee

Another integral part of our School community is our Annual Auction and Auction Committee. This year will be its 26th year of supporting the school. Because of the amazing work done by the Auction Committee and parents, students are able to attend St. Michael's School with NO fees. Monies raised for the Auction go towards:

Athletics

Sports Development Programs

Swimming Lessons

Music Program

Art Program

Field Trips

Hot Lunch Program

Teacher Discretionary Fund-to assist teachers with materials they may need

Reading Programs

Student Agendas

Transportation to Church Mass

Kindergarten Costs

It has also funded many unique opportunities as seen needed through the School and community throughout the years.
